PadPipe helps you keep track of apartments you are thinking about. To do that we need a little information from you. This page says exactly what we take, why we take it, and what we will never do with it.

The short version. We do not sell your data. We do not run ads. No landlord, agent or broker gets your name or number because you saved their listing. You can export everything and delete your account whenever you want.

Who we are

PadPipe is run by Devin Picciolini in Chicago, Illinois, United States. If you have a question about anything on this page, email [email protected].

What we do not collect

How we use it

Only to run PadPipe for you: to show your list, score it, map it, answer your questions about it, email you about your own account, and take payment. That is the whole list.

The built-in assistant

When you ask the assistant a question, the question and the relevant parts of your own pipeline are sent to Anthropic's Claude API so it can answer. Anthropic does not train models on API data. If you would rather nothing left our servers, simply do not use the Ask feature — nothing else sends your data anywhere.

Reading listing pages

When you paste a link, our server fetches that public listing page to pull out the address, price and photos. The listing site sees a request from us, not from you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information, and we have never sold it. We share only with the companies that make the service run:

We will also hand over information if the law genuinely requires it, and we will tell you unless we are legally forbidden from doing so.

Where your data lives

On a server operated by us in the United States, reachable only over an encrypted tunnel. Traffic is encrypted in transit with HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. Only the account that created a row can read it — that separation is enforced on the server, not in the browser, and it is covered by our automated tests.

Your choices

If you are in California, the EU or the UK, you have rights over your personal data under the CCPA, the GDPR and the UK GDPR. The bullets above are how you exercise all of them; email us and we will help. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Children

PadPipe is for adults renting a home. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has made an account, email us and we will remove it.

Cookies

One cookie: the one that keeps you signed in. No advertising or analytics cookies. Clearing it signs you out.

If something goes wrong

If a breach ever affects your data, we will tell affected users by email within 72 hours of confirming it, and say plainly what happened and what to do.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and email you before it takes effect.
